Terms of Service

1. The Service
Lumetry is a browser-based photo editing application. Your photographs are processed locally on your device; optional account features sync your edit settings (not your photos) across devices.
2. Your content
You keep all rights to your photographs and edits. We claim no ownership of, and take no license to, your images. Because your images are processed locally, we never receive them.
3. Accounts
You're responsible for your account credentials and for the accuracy of your email. You must be legally able to enter this agreement. One person per account; don't create multiple accounts to evade free-plan limits.
4. Plans
Trial (no account): up to 100 photos, features as offered. Free account: larger limits including a monthly allowance of new photos, edit sync, and limited AI usage. Pro: paid plan with unlimited library size and higher AI limits. We may adjust free-tier limits; paid features won't be materially reduced during a paid term.
5. Acceptable use
Don't abuse the Service: no attempts to circumvent usage limits, resell access, overload or reverse the AI endpoints, or use the Service for unlawful content or purposes. We may suspend accounts that do.
6. AI features
AI editing interprets your text or voice instructions into edit values using third-party AI providers. Results are suggestions applied to your local image; review them. AI usage is rate-limited per plan.
7. Payments, cancellation
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record; their checkout terms apply alongside ours. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled anytime from your Lemon Squeezy customer portal (link in your receipt email); cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. All sales are final except where consumer law requires otherwise — see our billing & cancellation policy.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are a small team shipping fast: we don't warrant uninterrupted service or that every camera's RAW file decodes perfectly. Keep your original files backed up — Lumetry is an editor, not a backup service.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of images caused by your device, browser, or storage.
10. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts for breach of these terms; if we terminate a paid account without cause, we'll refund the unused portion.
11. Governing law & changes
These terms are governed by the laws of JURISDICTION_PLACEHOLDER. We may update these terms; material changes will be noted in-app or by email, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
